The B.E.S.T. Academy and Wellness Centre is an educational service that offers preliminary behavioural assessments, behavioural support plans, social emotional learning, intervention plans, consultative assistance, mental health support services, educational support and advocacy, social skills group, parent coaching and mentoring, indoor and outdoor events. All services are provided through a structured learning program using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Mental Health & Wellness Care.

Behavioural Management
Behaviour management includes all of the actions and conscious inactions to enhance the probability people, individually and in groups, choose behaviours which are personally fulfilling, productive and socially acceptable.

B.E.S.T. Advocacy
A B.E.S.T. Advocate listens to your views and concerns, helps you explore your options and rights. Provides information to help you make informed decisions. A B.E.S.T. Advocate helps you contact relevant people, or will contact them on your behalf, A B.E.S.T Advocate will accompany you and support you in meetings and appointments.

Social Emotional Learning
Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships and make responsible decisions.

Parent Coaching/Mentoring
Parent Coaching & Mentoring
supports creating goals for yourself as parent and/or caregiver. Focus on creating a system of B.E.S.T. in order to navigate disruptive behaviours and social, emotional limitations. Partnering together to implement the B.E.S.T. practices and resources for personal growth and development for you and your child.

Consultative Assistance
The provision of expert or professional advice to parents on behalf of your child or other interested party with regard to therapeutic activities or approaches which may be utilized in order to improve the behavioural, emotional and/or social performance of your child.

Respite Care
Respite Care provides temporary relief for a primary caregiver, enabling you to take a much needed break from the demands of caregiving of your child. It can look different for everyone and be customized to the unique needs of you and your child.
